Don't Mess With the Iron Penguin…
Charles recently pointed me towards the amazing 1/6 scale artistry of Kow Yokoyama. With an obsessive attention to detail, Kow turns the stock white toys (pictured above on the left) into bad-ass pieces of mechanical warfare. View more pieces after the jump.
Homo Ferratus is a blog dedicated to Kow’s work. Check it out here.

Mars Hill Illustration
Charles Brock recently did an illustration for Rob Bell’s Mars Hill Church. The image is a reference to the Biblical story of Jonah (you know, the guy who got eaten by a whale) and the season of Lent. Charles also did an illustration for them last year, which you can view after the jump. View the full illustration here.
Check it live on the Mars Hill Site (for a limited time only!).

Tim's Cousin Takes Great Photos
Tim Green’s cousin Molly Winn takes some nice shots, sure, but what I really appreciate about her work is the in the moment-ness she captures. All of her shots feel candid and honest. View more pictures after the jump. Also, the above picture is Tim’s son Silas, and his cousin James.
You can visit Molly’s blog here.

Superhuman Proofreaders
Michel Vrana: I admire the eye of the proofreader who can see an italic comma that should be roman. Wow.
Nate Salciccioli: I've also had an italic 'period' pointed out to me, which just doesn't make sense...
Michel Vrana: It's the italic spaces that really impress me.

John Keatley is a great photographer I became aware of while procuring a fancy graphic design degree at Seattle Pacific University. John used to do photography for various university events, but he also does some high-profile celebrity and editorial shoots.
He’s also got a great blog that gives insights into the daily happenings of a Seattle photographer. It’s worth peeking at.
