We have “several” (i.e. two) iphones in the studio, and have joined the elite status of “Supreme Apple Blingers”. Apart from the many functional uses of your iPhone, we’ve discovered several less functional (but wildly entertaining) things you can do…one of which is creating Hipstaprints.
Apparently, this app tweaks the iPhone’s camera settings, creating a faux cross-processed/lomography effect. And it’s not bad. You can see all the pictures on our Flickr Stream.

There are not a lot of albums where I like every song, but I LOVE every single song on Wolfgang Amadeus by Phoenix. Good beat, different sound in each song, and nice instrumentals in the middle of the album.
Leave it to the (Japanese?) to come up with an 80 Port USB hub. I can think of 75 unecessary things that would come with such a hub…

I’ve been obsessed with see-through screens ever since Minority Report. As I watched Tom Cruise moving icons and checking email with his hands, deep down I knew I was looking at the future. Which, BTW, is here now.
Samsung is introducing a transparent 14-inch laptop screen. This is wayyyy cooler than those Kindle thingies. The huge upside is that I can now see all those wires behind my desk!
