We go through a lot of music in the studio, and Pandora has been invaluable in keeping the music fresh and varied. In fact, we love Pandora so much that we’ve started our own Faceout Pandora Station. Feel free to tune in!
p.s. you have to be logged in to Pandora to use it. But isn’t that the point?
There are not a lot of albums where I like every song, but I LOVE every single song on Wolfgang Amadeus by Phoenix. Good beat, different sound in each song, and nice instrumentals in the middle of the album.
I’ve really been enjoying Greg Laswell’s music recently. Perfect for a gray, rainy afternoon at work. You can listen to some of his songs over at Grooveshark, or at his website. My favorite track of his (at the moment) is How The Day Sounds.
Thanks to Jeff for the heads up.

The Dentist’s office is the huge black hole center of the musical galaxy. If you don’t know what I mean, you must have several cavities at this very moment. I give you permission to stop reading this right now, and get yourself checked. When you return, we can start having this conversation…
To return to my point, the music that softly assaults your ears consists entirely of Kenny G, Yanni, Michael Bolton, Amy Grant, and Kenny Chesney. You’re not even sure what you’re hearing (as the volume is turned to “3”) until a famous chorus starts up…and the groaning/drilling begins.
