This is my favorite music video, ever. Jónsi’s (formerly of Sigur Rós) music, already cinematic in scope, is paired perfectly with this kind of artistic film. arni & kinski directed this video, along with Sigur Ros’ Glosoli.
This is by far the coolest typographic sequence I’ve ever seen in motion, from German motion artist Sebastian Lange. I’m inspired/shamed/excited/awed/humbled all at once. It also proves that Helvetica still kicks ass.

Tekkonkinkreet
My buddy Chad Sutter loaned me this movie Tekkonkinkreet with high recommendations. I had never heard of it. It’s a Japanese anime film from 2006 directed by American Michael Arias animated by Studio 4°C with soundtrack by Plaid. It’s based on the manga Tekkonkinkreet: Black & White.
